のれんは部屋の区切りの為に出入り口に飾るものですが、人々の区切り出入り口として人間の口をそれに見立て、口の為の『のれん』をデザインしました。『病は口から』『口は災いの元』など口は重要な社会の出入り口です。


Noren is a cotton curtain hannging at the entrance of shops, restaurants or kitchens in private homes.

Entrance is mouth in human. Noren Mask is hanging at the mouth for security.
